Few things make my heart melt more than a great pair of designer jeans. Well, except for designer jeans at a great price. I would rather not fork over my entire Tahoe Joe's biweekly paycheck on one pair of jeans. My favorite discount shopping haven?
Oh, Plato's Closet. Annoying commercials and all. It really is hit or miss sometimes there. Not only do I love it for the cash they give me for my clothes that I would previously just give to Goodwill. The clothes that I never wear anymore can actually get me some benefit. As they rummage through my clothes I rummage through their racks and racks of jeans. After times of finding some really great pairs of jeans, I have began to go here first when I need a new pair. Plus, they are all in really great condition.
The other day after Thomas and I had a fun little date of golfing (eek, my first time!), and yummy Mexican food dinner, Thomas drove over to Guitar Center. I had him drop me off at The Closet where I found two of the most amazing pairs of jeans...my best trip there yet.
Joe's Jeans Gray Straight Legs
Rock and Republic Medium Wash Straight Legs
I usually have a really hard time buying straight leg jeans because I am so short and I don't want to end up looking like every other 12 year old girl in super skinny Hollister jeans. But these are perfect. They don't suffocate my ankles and I don't have to fold them up! Hooray! So for jeans that normally go for about $200 a pair originally, walking away with both of these babies for around $120, I think I faired pretty well. They may be "out of season" for the department stores, but in my opinion a good pair of jeans can last years. What are clothing items that you buy at discount?
