My Late Night Thoughts

  • I am ready for midterms to be over.  But then before I know it finals will be here.  And then the biggest relief, SUMMER!  I cannot wait
  • Next week, I will start training to become a server :)
  • To celebrate (at least for me) my last week of hostessing, my mom and I will be traveling up to Stephanie and Cale's this weekend to see this man...
Sorry, Thomas...I found a new boyfriend :P

  • I am going back (mostly) blonde Tuesday.
  • Adam won Big Brother...but most importantly James won America's favorite jury member giving him $25,000.  Well earned.
LOVE the guy with the pink mohawk

So here is my pathetic attempt at a post...I am the worst blogger ever.

p.s.  What are some good movies to watch HD?

A Peek Inside My Purse

Well, Morgan tagged me.  Time to grab my purse and dump out its contents.  This is what I cart around with me day to day.  I actually hate when I have a lot of stuff in my purse so I clean it out a lot.  But here is what what is in it today!

  • My leopard print hinge wallet
  • $1 bill and $1.75 in quarters that didn't quite make it in its designated place.
  • Von Zipper sunglasses sleeve
  • Pink coin purse
  • Nail file
  • Two Burt's Bees lip balms
  • Burt's Bees Honey chap stick (Um, I like Burt's Bees)
  • Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss in "Slice of Heaven"
  • Victoria's Secret Minty Lip Shine - also Beauty Rush
  • Neutrogena lip gloss
  • My planner
  • Camera case
  • My employee clock out receipt
  • Blackberry Pearl
  • Bobby pins
  • Bath and Body Works Anti-Bacterial Hand Lotion in Coconut Lime Verbena
  • Enchanted Blockbuster rental
So there you have it!

Denim

Few things make my heart melt more than a great pair of designer jeans.  Well, except for designer jeans at a great price.  I would rather not fork over my entire Tahoe Joe's biweekly paycheck on one pair of jeans.  My favorite discount shopping haven?

Oh, Plato's Closet.  Annoying commercials and all.  It really is hit or miss sometimes there.  Not only do I love it for the cash they give me for my clothes that I would previously just give to Goodwill.  The clothes that I never wear anymore can actually get me some benefit.  As they rummage through my clothes I rummage through their racks and racks of jeans.  After times of finding some really great pairs of jeans, I have began to go here first when I need a new pair.  Plus, they are all in really great condition.

The other day after Thomas and I had a fun little date of golfing (eek, my first time!), and yummy Mexican food dinner, Thomas drove over to Guitar Center.  I had him drop me off at The Closet where I found two of the most amazing pairs of jeans...my best trip there yet.

Joe's Jeans Gray Straight Legs

Rock and Republic Medium Wash Straight Legs

I usually have a really hard time buying straight leg jeans because I am so short and I don't want to end up looking like every other 12 year old girl in super skinny Hollister jeans.  But these are perfect.  They don't suffocate my ankles and I don't have to fold them up!  Hooray!  So for jeans that normally go for about $200 a pair originally, walking away with both of these babies for around $120, I think I faired pretty well.  They may be "out of season" for the department stores, but in my opinion a good pair of jeans can last years.  What are clothing items that you buy at discount?
