a new post...wahhh??

Yep, what you're seeing is real.  I am actually posting a blog after almost six months!  I read many blogs so I figured I might as well fully jump back on the bandwagon.

So, what's new with me?  Well not too much.  Well actually a lot but not everything that I want to divulge to the blog world...so we'll go into the surface stuff. :)

I'm kind of a little obsessed with these books....or as Morgan put it "not" obsessed hehe.

I'm working my way into the second book now and I'm seeing the movie this weekend on Sunday.  I even got my mom to read Twilight and I believe she is already hooked...muahaha.  Now we just have to work on this lady...

I also recently applied to three schools for Fall of next year: San Jose State, Fresno State and Cal State Long Beach.  My college plan was to only tentatively stay in Bakersfield, so I'm glad to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and be moving on to bigger and better things.  So keep your fingers crossed for me because recent budget cuts in the Cal State system are limiting their admittance of students :/

And to end on a happy note, like Alyssa, I want to share with you my favorite Christmas music.  I haven't quite started listening to Christmas music because I won't be in the mood completely until we put up the Christmas tree and I have watched either a) Elf or b) The Santa Clause.  Yep no other Christmas movie will do.  So these are my favorite Christmas albums:

Yep...not classics but they are good ones :).  I also love Mariah Carey's Christmas album as well as Josh Groban's.  Not to mention the few good songs that Michael Buble put out.  I have Elvis Presley's Duet Christmas album on my must-get list.

So, that's pretty much it.  It's nice catching up with you blog-world.  I promise I'll be back sooner than you expect.  That is if I can tear myself away from New Moon...errrr I mean studying for finals...hehe.
